What is gypsum?
Gypsum is the popular mineral substance. It’s chemical formula: calcium sulfat (CaSO 4 2H 2 O). It is discovered in limestone and appears in through out the areas of the earth.

Producing

Firstly the raw gypsum is mined and put in to stove to fire. This canxisulfat structure will not be disintegrated but terminate water crystalism
Chemical fomula: CaSO4.2H2O - Ca SO4 +1/2 H2O + 3/2 H2O ( gypsum powder contain a half of water)
For producing gypsum board, mixing and stirring the gypsum powder with water until mixture is milky then put in to the mould. Solidify reaction is the hydrate process. |
